Carrick is set along a quiet lane on the north coast of Eriskay , overlooking the turquoise waters and abundant wildlife of the Sound of Eriskay, and beyond to the glens and mountains of South Uist.  The croft runs from the shore up to the ramparts of Beinn Sgiathan, the highest summit of Eriskay, with extraordinary panoramic views of the Hebrides, with mountains, shore and seas abundant with wildlife. You’ll almost certainly encounter the rare and semi-wild Eriskay ponies, the native black Hebridean sheep, and other livestock traditional to the crofting way of life.

The house is within walking distance of shop, pub, beaches and hills, and ideally placed for exploring the island lanes and tracks on foot or by bike.
